We found a fantastic chef for the restaurant!
The first chef we had lined up sadly had to pull out due to an ongoing knee injury that wasn't getting better as hoped. However, that has worked out OK for us as we then discovered a guy who lives only a few minutes away who has many years of experience working in and running commercial kitchens. He's as excited about opening the restaurant as we are!
Last week we had some friends come and visit the resort to see what we're up to, and our great new Chef provided some delicious appetizers for us. We had baked brie enveloped in puff pasty, accompanied by bite size bread slices, topped with melted cheese; a superb artichoke bread bowl; and a plate of Bruschetta. A splendid lunch, enjoyed by all!
